Students at Pepper Ridge, Cedar Ridge, Oakdale and Bent Elementary Schools each received a Young Explorer Learning Center Monday. "Basically what it is is a personal computer that is designed to be welcoming to a young person who has not had any experience or exposure to personal computing, or computing in general or even technology," said IBM Sales Specialist Craig Wright. "So the idea is to draw them in and get them comfortable using the technology and give them a comfort level with technology going forward that they can leverage the rest of their lives."
