ALBANY, N.Y. -- UAlbany football coach Bob Ford has been honored for his accomplishments. Mayor Jerry Jennings, school president George Phillip and athletic director Lee McElroy proclaimed February 2nd to be "Bob Ford Day."Ford is currently the active wins leader in the FCS, formally known as Division I AA. Also on the list of his accomplishments is his 250th career win. Last year, the UAlbany football team beat Duquesne 38-10 to clinch the big win.Ford says he was eager to share the news with his wife, Donna."I came running home and said the mayor is going to have a Bob Ford Day. I said can you believe that, Donna? In your wildest dreams would you ever thought that would happen? She paused for moment and said, you are not in my wildest dreams," Ford said.Ford has been with the Great Danes for 39 years.
